Throughout history, never has a nation survived every single persecution and emerged stronger. Jews are a living testament of resilience. They have been persecuted by the Romans, the Spanish Inquisition, the Russian Empire of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and of course, Hitler … yet they have survived. Modern-day challenges will also not destroy the Jews unless they sit idly by and fail to use anti-Semitism as a wake-up call.

Why Do People Abuse?
Kathryn Patricelli, MA Understanding Abuse People have difficulty understanding the motives of people who are involved in abuse. Why people choose to abuse other people is a common question. Why adult people who are being abused choose to stay in abusive relationships is another. Abuse situations must be lived in and experienced before their internal logic makes any sense. However, we can try to do our best to understand.

It took many years of forgiving and getting plugged in to a healthy church before I really began to heal from the hurt.
